ServSafe Certified Food Protection Manager Course

Registration Details:

  • Pre-registration is required at least 10 days prior to the class date. ​
  • To register or request more information, email Alaskahospitalityretailers@gmail.com. ​
  • Class Schedule: 8:30 AM (sharp) to approximately 5:00 PM. ​
  • Lunch: 30-minute working lunch (please bring your own lunch). ​ Additional breaks will be provided. ​
  • Location: 903 West Northern Lights, Suite 222 (unless otherwise stated). ​
  • Cost:
    • AHR Members: $175 ​
    • Non-Members: $225 ​
  • Includes: Textbook, review course, and exam. ​
  • Refund Policy: No refunds after registration. ​

Arrival: Students should arrive 15 minutes before the class starts.

Instructions for ServSafe’s Online Course

Follow this simple step-by-step guide to purchase and access the ServSafe Manager Certification exam or course online. ​Don’t wait—get certified today and enhance your food safety expertise!

Step 1: Create an Account

  1. Go to ServSafe.com.
  2. Click“Login / Create Account” at the top of the page.
  • Mobile Users: Tap the three lines in the top-right corner, then scroll down to log in or create an account.
  1. Follow the prompts to set up your account.

Step 2: Select ServSafe Manager

  1. On the ServSafe homepage, click“ServSafe Manager”.
  • Mobile Users: Tap the three lines in the top-right corner to access the menu, then select “ServSafe Manager”.

Step 3: Choose Your Product

  1. Click “Buy” under “Buy Products”.
  2. Select “Manager Training and Certification Exam Products”
  3. Scroll down and choose one of the following options:

Step 4: Complete Your Purchase

  1. Click “Add to Cart” for your selected product.
  2. Click “View Your Cart” and then “Checkout”.
  3. Follow the prompts to complete your purchase.

Step 5: Schedule Your Proctor

  1. After purchase, check your email for instructions and a link to schedule your online proctor.

Andrea Conter, from Conter Consulting LLC, is a Certified TIPS Alcohol Seller-Server Trainer and an experienced HR consultant. She offers TIPS certification classes tailored to students’ learning styles, with tests conducted online. Students must bring an electronic device compatible with Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge.

Certified Trainer With a Purpose

To ensure you clearly understand the State of Alaska’s requirements to be a Seller-Server of Alcohol: to protect you, the organization you work for, and the community we live in.

Tests are taken on-line, so you need to bring an electronic device that can access Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge. (Smartphones work). Limited amount of laptops available if needed. Passing score is 70% and classes tailored to the learning style of the students.

Recertification:

For those with proof of certification expired under 60 days. Cost: $55 (Members) or $65 (Non-Members). Duration: 2 hours. Upcoming dates:

Full Class:

For new servers or those with certifications expired over 60 days. Cost: $65

All students must be registered and pay for the class 72 hours prior to the class.
